Self Care Sunday: D.I.Y Salted Chocolate Glow Scrub

Are you in the mood for chocolate but don’t want the guilt that comes along with being indulgent? Well, I have just the treat, but this one is for your skin! Wild Alchemy’s salted, chocolate glow scrub smells exactly like high quality milk chocolate, and will leave you feeling indulged–without the guilt! 😏
Sea salt and cocoa powder come together buff to away dead skin cells and reveal your most youthful, luminous complexion (without any harsh chemicals or dyes). Got sensitive skin? Don’t fret! The coconut oil in this scrub makes it safe for use on even the most wildly sensitive, and acne prone skin. Best of all: it is unbelievably easy to make, and it will last you for months! Chocolate lovers, feel free to rejoice!Β πŸ˜‰πŸ€©

INGREDIENTS
3/4 Coconut Oil
2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Sea Salt
1 Mason jar

DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in bowl
Mix until they turn a milk chocolate color
Spoon into mason jar

Here is what your finished product should look like: prono

Note* When exfoliating your face with this scrub it is best to follow it up with a natural, gentle cleanser if your pores have a tendency to clog. If you have dry skin, skip this step as the coconut oil will help balance out your skin and correct the lack of moisture.

I personally have acne prone/combination skin, have used this product both with and without a cleanser afterwards (depending on what my skin needed at the time) and have had no issues/breakouts. And I have noticed a positive change in how luminous/glowy my skin is. Try it for yourself and see how this scrub works for you! πŸ™ƒ
